Myth #1: I Need to Focus on One Chakra More Than the Others

This is a very common misunderstanding! The chakras are a part of our spiritual anatomy and should be worked with holistically. We should never focus only on one or two of the chakras for exclusive or special emphasis, neglecting the others.

Even if a part of the body is malfunctioning, we cannot be certain the nearest chakra is the one needing attention. It might be another chakra, or more likely, all of them which need help.

Therefore, it is best to work with the chakras as a whole system. You can use tools such as chanting, affirmation, visualization, and introspection, but the most powerful way is a meditation technique such as Kriya Yoga, which directs energy through all the chakras while magnetizing and purifying the astral spine, gradually but powerfully.
